PTFE etched foils and sheets

Due to the chemical composition and related non-stickiness, bonding of PTFE is very difficult, but not impossible.

The surface of PTFE must be prepared (enlarged) with a special procedure (etching), both parts which we would like to bond, must be coated with a special two-component glue, and pressed together under some pressure.

In this way we can bond together PTFE or PTFE and metals.

 

 

 

The supply of the following products is available upon request:

- etched sheets with a thickness of 1.5mm to 100mm in the formats:

• 600 × 600mm
• 1,000 × 1,000mm
• 1,200 × 1,200mm
• 1,500 × 1,500mm

- etched foils with the thickness of 0.02mm to 4mm in the widths from 300 to 1500mm.
